Specialty Laboratories

The Specialty Laboratories project is a laboratory and corporate headquarters located in Santa Clarita, California.  Specialty Laboratories is a research-based clinical laboratory that primarily focuses on esoteric clinical laboratory tests.  The project was a build-to-suit development inclusive of all shell/core and tenant improvement design and construction per the program requirements of Specialty Laboratories.  The building is three stories totaling 198,000 gross square feet, sited on a 13.8-acre parcel.  Other components of the project include a central plant to support the building and lab spaces, a chemical waste handling and disposal facility, approximately surface parking, and site work including landscaping and utilities.  Design of the facility complies with the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC & R’s) of the ValenciaCorporateCenter.
