710 Wilshire Boulevard
The 710 Wilshire Boulevard project comprises the renovation of an existing, 6-level landmark building and construction of a new, 7-level building over a 4-level subterranean parking structure. The completed Project will reposition the existing property as a full-service hotel under The Kor Group’s new “Proper Hotels” brand. The Project will deliver approximately 165,000 square feet of new program, including 270 hotel rooms, 6,000 square feet of ground floor retail suites, 7,000 square feet of food and beverage spaces, 6,000 square feet of meeting and banquet rooms, a lobby, paseo, courtyard, fitness center, rooftop pool deck and back-of-house support spaces. The new parking structure will house 368 parking stalls. Aurora is providing construction management services including scheduling, coordination with the architect and all consultants, city approvals, management of the general contractor, oversight of field activities, construction contract administration, payment application reviews and approvals, coordination of quality control programs, coordination with FF&E and OS&E installations, coordination with the developer’s operations team and assistance with construction contract close-outs.
